Aside from my makeup world, some of my hobbies include taking pictures and videos/capturing imperfect moments, enjoying time with my son and my honey, hiking, reading, being outdoors, and traveling to experience new cultures and broaden my perspective. 

My entrance into the makeup world started as a hobby, and a mama who needed a side hustle that would allow for, not just income, but availability through all of her son's appointments, who had recently been diagnosed with autism. Who knew it would turn into all of this? I couldn’t be more thankful. The best thing about what I do is connecting with all of the wonderful souls I’ve met along this journey. It becomes one big APMA family, and I’m grateful. 

I cannot wait to elevate my visions for this company into reality, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share this journey with you.

Hi, everyone! Thanks for stopping by and getting to know a little about me. I’ve been a professional makeup artist since 2015. I began my artistry training at MAC Cosmetics and worked with the  company for 4 years. Afterwards, I attended Southeastern Esthetics Institute in Columbia, SC in 2021 to further my education on skin. Healthy skin is the best foundation for makeup friends! Along with being a professional makeup artist, I am a licensed esthetician, too! 

Freelancing has always been a passion of mine. I could talk for hours on this topic, and how it all started, but for now - let’s just say my son, Kai, was his mama’s biggest motivator. I graduated with my Bachelor of Business Administration, focused on Business Management in 2019 from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, FL. It was all very fitting as I started my own business, and April Patio Makeup Artist (APMA, for short) was born.
